July 25, 2008 To Whom It May Concern: Arkansas Earth Day Foundation is accepting new applications for membership on our Board of Directors! We invite you to join us! We are seeking the inclusion of individuals involved with businesses, organizations, and projects which contribute to or support environmental sustainability. We need you to help “Hope Grow”! We invite all interested individuals to send a letter of interest and resume/vita to the information provided below for consideration by the current board. In your letter, we invite you to answer the following questions: Why are you interesting in furthering the vision of AED? What talents or skills would you bring to the Board? What fundraising strategies or connections will you bring to the Board? What do you hope to gain by serving on the Board? What role do you see AED playing in the community and how do you see its role in the future? Terms are for 1-2 years and are unpaid. Preference is given to diversity (age, race, gender, location, expertise, etc.), commitment, availability, work ethic, and passion. No more than one member of the Board shall be from the same primary corporation, educational institution, religious, or other organization. Individuals with specific professional skills may be considered for inclusion as a non-voting Advisory Board Member. Read more about the organization at

Board Member of the Arkansas Earth Day Foundation Board of Directors. For those accepted, a virtual orientation
will be provided in September with the first meeting of the new Board occurring in October.
