If you’re on the road and hear the sounds of a ukulele gently wafting out the windows of a tricked-out, green Harvester school bus, close behind you'll see us – a group of 12 college students rocking and rolling across the country this summer out to educate the world about alternative fuels.

The Big Green Bus Fast Talking - Faster Thinking

It’s quite possible that the only part of Dr. Allen Hershkowitz that moves faster than his lips is his mind. Dr. Hershkowitz, a senior scientist at the Natural Resources Defense Council, had the generosity to meet with us yesterday at the NRDC’s headquarters in New York City. In its usual, exquisite manner, fate sent us exactly what we ... Read More

Greetings from Palm Springs, Ca.!

We are learning about how to recycle, and try some green things we can do at home. We ran across your site! How great that you are speading the word! I wish I could experience that with you!
If you ever come our way- drop us a line! We'd love it if you came to our middle school!
If you ever have the time, please email us (at my eamil) and let us know how you are doing and what is going on in your travels!
Keep on Big Green Bus!

Reading about your adventures reminds me of when I was your age (a hippie of the 60's) I know how hard it is doing what your doing but I also know of the great satisfaction you achieve when you know that you've gotten through to some people. Keep up the GREAT work you are reaching more people than you think and THANKS

Greetings from American Eagle Outfitters! I'm the director of the American Eagle Outfitters Foundation and just learned of your amazing adventure. American Eagle is hosting a music festival this summer called the New American Music Union on August 8 & 9 in Pittsburgh. Is there any chance you might be in the neighborhood or could we entice you to come our way??? We are trying to make our festival as green as possible and we've invited the Student Conservation Association to host a cool project at the event. We'd love to have you join us, too.

Let us know if this might be feasible. If not, hopefully we can catch you or the next crew of the Green Bus next year.

Thanks and keep up the great work!

Hey, I found something that can really help you with efficiency and low-end torque = power with fuel savings to boot!

This Indian guy, Somender Singh at somender-singh dot com discovered that a groove in the cylinder head changes the quality of combustion.

It really is cool and nobody has ever tried it with negative results... apparently.
