About Me
I am from Colombia and I am 25 years old. I have an undergraduate in Electronics Engineering and Telecommunications at the University of Cauca (Colombia) and I was working three years and a half as a professor and researcher in the same University. Besides teaching courses, I had the opportunity to participate in several projects focused on rural zones of the Department of Cauca and this experience taught me the potential that Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have to foster development in the less privileged regions. Now, as a fellow in the Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship and student of the Technology and Policy Program at MIT, I will have a unique opportunity to learn and be prepared to continue to work for my Department and its rural population.
